Milford Public Schools

The Fine Arts Seminar class attended the Doane Drama Camp on Monday, October 2. Students participated in workshops on Acting, Scene Painting, Costuming, and Stage Management and watched a performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Addison Sample was awarded the Outstanding Actor Award for the day.

The High School band traveled to Hastings on Saturday to compete in the Melody Roundup Parade with 11 other bands. Milford was one of only three schools to receive a Superior rating and a plaque. Allyson Taylor and Hannah Wittstruck were recognized as the best drum majors.

7-12 Grades Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 4 from 4:30 - 8:30 PM in the South Gym. There will also be a College Fair for all 9-12 grade students in the Cafeteria from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. #milfordsoar

Results from Thursday's #Milfordsoar ESports matches: Valorant - Milford defeats Centennial 13 rounds to 1. Smash Bros. - Team 1 defeats EMF Team 2 by a score of 2 to 1 and lost to EMF Team 1 by a score of 0 to 2. Team 2 lost to both EMF teams by a score of 0 to 2.

Congratulations to the Milford XC runners on a great race at Fillmore today. Girls brought home a runner-up plaque and the boys were 3rd in a very competitive field of 22 teams.
