Congratulations to the speech team for placing 3rd out of 15 teams in Novice, Varsity, and Overall.
The following members received superior ribbons: Austin Shook, Lydia Jeppesen, Jamie Roth, Marissa Johns, Aaron Steckly, Racquel Luethke, Brook Rakow, Caitlynn Christensen, Scott Olson, Alex Ficke, and Dakotah Buchli. Students who qualified for finals and received medals were: in NOVICE Cady Vaverka, persuasive; Samantha Vaverka, Humorous; Dylan Tegtmeier, Entertainment; and Justin Ramsdell, Humorous; in VARSITY Sarah Rogge, Jill Olson, Ian Rempel, Trey Frey, and Austin Shook, 6th in OID; Dakotah Buchli, 5th Serious; Morgan McNally, 4th Serious; Brook Rakow, 4th Persuasive; Sam Olson, Caitlynn Christensen, Mekenna Wingard, and Marissa Johns, 3rd in OID; Micah Jeppesen, 2nd in Humorous; Alex Ficke, 1st in Poetry; and Sam Olson and Aaron Steckly, 1st in Duet Acting.
