8th Grade Agricultural Education
On Monday, December 12, the 8th grade Agricultural Education class reviewed the whole sale parts of beef cattle using a live Charolais heifer. The class has been studying the wholesale meat cuts of sheep, hogs and cattle. On Monday students in the class used a live heifer to practice labeling the wholesale parts of a beef animal. Students used markers to draw and label the cuts on the side of the white animal. After finishing the review, several students took the opportunity to lead a beef animal for the first time in their lives.
