Telescopes work by collecting and magnifying visible light that is given off by stars or reflected from the planets. They use a curved lens or mirror to collect light and bring it to a focus, which is a point in space where all the light rays meet. The light collected by the telescope is divided into wavelengths through a process called spectroscopy.
This man has large welts on his back due to the impact of paintballs on his skin. The force at which paintballs are launched out of the paintball gu
ns causes the balls to be launched at velocities of around 300 feet per second, thus on impact, causes these large welts to form.

Iron man's suit runs on electricity. Inside the suit are thousands of wires which carry electric current, which is caused by a flow of electrons, to supply energy to different parts of the suit. In order for the electric current to be pushed through a wire there has to be a potential difference between its two ends. This is called voltage. In Iron Man's suit this voltage is supplied by a battery, which can store an electric charge. To make his suit as efficient as possible Iron man should use a highly conductive metal, like gold, to reduce the amount of resistance.

We experience static electricity almost every day in the winter. Static electircity happens when
electrons from one object transfer to another object causing one to obtain a negative charge. In the picture above, electrons from my body transfered to the slide causing a electric shock between the slide and I. Adding to the intensity of the shock and static electricity was the amount of friction between my pants and the slide. The two surfaces rubbed together and increased the amount of static electricity between the slide and I.
