Milford Fine Arts Letter
June 2010 The MFA students had a busy and productive spring with band and choral concerts, speech meets and fund raising. The COPA festivities boasted many talents. The MFAB met for a May 19 meeting. We are looking for an energetic person to volunteer to join the team as vice president. Please contact Kimberly Rempel if you are interested. We will convene again on August 30, 2010 and January 10, 2011. MFAB were pleased that we were able to give scholarships for $150 to five of our dedicated students. The boosters have decided not to have a booth at the Milford Fun days this year. We are going to have the opportunity to do concessions for the softball team, which will provide extra fund raising opportunities. As the band and choir members are working towards earning money for the 2011 trip to Chicago we have decided to make cookie dough sales available in the fall so students can earn those last needed dollars. We were delighted this spring to support our local community through sales of Eileen’s Cookie dough which will be available just in time for the Christmas holiday, making delivery of cookies to all of your neighbors and friends that much easier! Pizza Kitchen cards will also be sold again this fall. Please enjoy your summer. We look forward to seeing you on August 30 at 7:00 in the band room. Please stop by the high school office to pick up your 2010-2011 MFAB activities pocket calendar and sign up for volunteer activities throughout the upcoming year. Activity sheet follows in this issue of the Eagle Express. Kimberly Rempel MFAB President 402.761.4924
