Milford High School to Host Pink Out
The Milford High School Sportsmanship Committee along with FBLA and FCCLA will be hosting the 2nd annual “Pink Out” to raise money for cancer awareness. The “Pink Out” will occur on January 29, 2010, during the Milford vs. Wilber Clatonia basketball game.
High School Staff have volunteered to take a pie in the face if they receive $25 in donations. It looks like 10 staff member will be eating whipped cream on Friday afternoon at 3:10 in the Auditorium. Should be fun! Slideshow of staff getting pie in face by students!
The organizations are selling t-shirts and luminaries with all proceeds going to the Seward County Cancer Society. T-shirts for the “Pink Out” are available to order now at the high school office at a cost of $10. Milford High School Senior Kiley Schildt designed the t-shirt for this years event.
The Family Career and Community Leaders of America will sell luminaries to be displayed at the game on January 29 for $2 each. After purchasing the luminaries, buyers may design them that evening in honor or in memory of a cancer patient.
Individuals and business are also encouraged to donate money for this event through the high school office.
