Aluminum Tabs For The Ronald McDonald House
The Milford Elementary P.T.O. is teaming up with Justina Roth, a 2008 Milford High School graduate, to reach a goal of collecting one million aluminum tabs. Justina's passion to collect aluminum tabs began when she became very ill in March of her sixth grade year. Her illness required a stay at the Children's Hospital in Omaha, While there, Justina met a very special little boy named Trevor. Without the Ronald McDonald House Trevor's family would not have been able to afford to stay in the Omaha area during Trevor's fight to get better. Justina is now much healthier and wishes to make a difference for that special four-year-old boy. Justina and the Milford P.T.O. would like to show their support for the Ronald McDonald house by collecting aluminum tabs
Please save any and all aluminum tabs This is not limited to pop tabs, but also includes aluminum tabs from soup and fruit cans. A collection site will be set up in the school library, and student's efforts will be rewarded by seeing their teachers named"tab" teacher for the day. As goals are met each participating teacher will have the "opportunity" to wear a fashionable outfit adorned with hundreds of pop tabs. Please start collecting NOW and help us make a difference!!!
