D.A.R.E

Drug Abuse Resistance Education commonly known as D.A.R.E. was successfully completed by the 6th grade class led by Chief Siebken. Every Monday during second semester students learned about drugs, how to say no to peer pressure, how to make good choices and the D.A.R.E. decision making model. All students wrote an essay about what they learned in D.A.R.E. Yasmeen El-kurd, Tiffany Bernasek, and Anna Hostetler were chosen to read theirs at the culminating graduation ceremony held at SunValley Bowling Center in Lincoln on March 31st. D.A.R.E. t-shirts were worn by the 6th grade students and bowling and pizza made the day special and fun for all. The 6th Grade Class would like to thank the PTO for the t-shirts and to Chief Siebken for making the D.A.R.E. program interesting, relevant, and fun!
