ProStart Culinary Team!

The Milford ProStart Culinary team and Plating team kicked off their competition season with serving their parents, school board members, and administration and administrative staff on December 14th in the high school library. Contests start on March 1st and 2nd for culinary teams and plating teams in Omaha at the Institute of Culinary Arts. Districts will be held on Saturday, March 6th at SCC in LIncoln. You must qualify at districts to advance to the state competition. The culinary team called the "Sous-per Chefs" and "Slim Jim" and the Babes will prepare a three course cuisine in one hour's time. Plating entries will be in gingerbread, vegetable carvings, fruit carvings, manufactured dessert, scratch dessert, candy sculptures, tapas, knife skills, and chocolate sculptures.
