Third Graders Visit Vala's Pumpkin Patch
It was a picture perfect fall day for the third grade class as they enjoyed their second annual field trip to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch. The 52 students along with 30 parents had the opportunity to take a hayrack ride out to the pumpkin patch, ride the pedal cars, get lost in a corn maze, scare each other in the haunted house, enjoy a train ride around the farm, and many more fun and exciting activities throughout the day. Prior to the field trip the third graders studied the life cycle of a pumpkin. Vala’s was the perfect opportunity for them to learn hands on about life on a farm, and how a pumpkin grows. Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for making this a memorable day for us!
