Take the Extra Step Day
Milford FBLA is encouraging the Milford Community to take
the extra step! This day is to promote walking and exercising
to
maintain a healthy lifestyle. On Monday, September 21, choose
to
take the extra step!
Some ideas on how to take the extra step include:
• Park your car a block away and walk the rest
• Let your dog have some fresh air and take him for a walk
• Go for a short walk during your lunch time or break time
• Take your children on a walk to the park
• Take the stairs instead of the elevator
• Go shopping! You’d be surprised how much you walk when you
shop!
Some benefits of taking the extra step include:
• It will keep you in shape
• It will help manage your weight
• It will help manage your stress level
• It will control your blood pressure
