Milford Public Schools 2009-2010 Recommended Supply Lists
Please label your supplies and replenish as needed
Kindergarten
• 4 expo markers
• roll of paper towels
• box of kleenex
• resting towel and small pillow (labeled)
• change of clothes in a plastic bag (labeled)
• book bag with name on it
• 4 glue sticks
1st Grade
• book bag
• pencil box - 8” plastic pencil box
• 4-6 standard #2 yellow pencils (These sharpen easier and can be
shared with less confusion)
• 1 box of kleenex
• paint shirt (bigger older shirt that can be put over clothes when
we paint)
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 2 black Expos - odor free - not #2’s
• small 3X3 cotton rag to wipe off white boards
• 8 oz. bottle of Elmer’s Glue
• Washable markers - optional
• Please bring a picture of you for the first day of school (have
your mom or dad take a picture of you doing your favorite summer
activity)
2nd Grade
• 1 or 2 boxes of Kleenex
• sharpened pencils (your choice)
• pkg. of yellow #2 pencils
• 8 oz. glue bottle (NO BLUE GLUE or NO SPREADER TIP)
• large erasers or eraser tips
• 2 red editing pens
• box of crayons
• scissors
• 3 pocket folders
• pencil box
• book bag
• 1 small box Jiffy brand cake mix (choc., white, or yellow)
• pkg of FINE point dry erase markers (Expo brand preferred)
• coins in film container (4 quarters, 10 dimes, 5 nickels, 10
pennies)
• old paint shirt - short sleeves
• Miss White’s Class Only - 1 roll of 35 mm film 200 speed 12 or 24
exposure
Optional Both Classes
• One pack of stickers, your choice, for use during the school year
on students’ papers
• fine tip colored marks
Optional Mrs. Jones Class Only
• red or pink Nebraska cornhusker shirt ( The 2A theme for next
year is a Cornhusker theme.)
3rd grade
• 4 pocket folders (blue, green, red, yellow)
• 1 package wide-lined loose paper
• 1 spiral notebook
• scissors (Medium Size)
• 1 box of crayons (at least 48 count)
• 1 box of standard color markers (not permanent)
• 1 box of pencils and one small pencil box
• 1 large eraser
• 3 red correcting pens
• 1 bottle of glue
• 1 glue stick
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 box of dry erase board markers
• 1 clean old sock
• 1 black sharpie marker
• 1 pkg. of stickers (OPTIONAL)
4th Grade
• 1 package (12) of #2 pencils(sharpened)
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 2 boxes of tissues
• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 pink eraser or pencil top erasers
• 2 packages of wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper
• 5 notebooks (70-100 pages)
• 1 sm. white school glue or glue stick
• 1 set of markers (8-10 colors)
• 1 set of colored pencils (We use these the most!)
• 7 pocket folders (2-red, 2- green, 2- yellow, 1 blue)
• 4 dry erase markers (dark colors please!)
• NO TRAPPER KEEPERS
5th Grade
• Paper-wide lined, loose leaf-2 pkgs.
• #2 lead pencils/sharpened
• pencil top erasers/eraser
• 3 spiral notebooks- 70 sheets
• Glue stick-3
• Dry erase markers (4-black)
• Colored pencils-12-24 ct.
• 1 box of tissue
• scissors
• 3 red checking pens/pencils
• Markers-10 count, wide or fine tipped
• Pencil bag (one with a zipper works best)
• Expandable folder with 7 sections
• Highlighter
• Crayons-24 count
• Fine point Sharpie marker
6th Grade
• 12 pencils (sharpened)
• 2 red checking pens
• 200 sheets of loose-leaf notebook paper
• 5 subject spiral notebook
• pocket folders without tabs
• 1 box colored pencils (12)
• 1 box markers (8)
• 1 bottle of rubber cement
• scissors
• boxes of kleenex
• 8 dry erase markers (no light colors)
• zipper pencil bag (no boxes)
• calculator
• assignment book (optional)
• 1-1/2” 3 ring binder (Davenport & Sample’s class ONLY)
