5th Grade Chefs

In honor of a fractions unit, Mrs. Klug's math class spent the last day of math cooking! First, students completed Recipe Rescue, a worksheet with recipes that needed to be altered. Then, each group was assigned a recipe to make. It was difficult finding recipes that required no heat source; however, they were able to make Snowballs,
Peanut Butter Bars, and Fruit Smoothies. Although we may not have gourmet chefs in fifth grade yet, we do have some fraction masters! And yes, they did get to eat the snacks!
