ProStart Team Brings Home the Honors!
Culinary team is over all State Champion!!

Congratulations to the Milford Culinary and Plating Teams for their fantastic placing at the state competition this weekend. There were 90 plating competitors and 10 state qualifying culinary teams.

Daniella Troyer placed 2nd Manufactured Dessert, Sally McCall was champion in Scratch Dessert
Karissa Bernasek was champion in Vegetable Carving and champion in Fruit Carving.

The Milford Culinary team of Megan Rediger, Sam Rogge, and Michala Kalkwarf won Best of Beef, Best Team Knife Skills, Champion Team in Case Management, Culinary Team champions, and Over All State Champions that have won a trip to San Diego for the National ProStart Culinary Championship in April.
This is not the first year that the team has done will at the State Competition. When Miss Meyer started the program/class it has always had good representation at the State Meet. The students work very hard during the year with several practice events including the annual School Board dinner, and a Media night just to name a couple.
