Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in the Milford Public Schools. The first step in the application process is to immediately send a letter of interest and a resume to the District for an advertised position(s). Suitable resumes will include teaching experience, degree(s) earned, student teaching experience, other work experience and references.

The second step is to complete an application form. This downloadable form is located on our district website: "Download Teacher/Staff Application Document Here" or "Download Business Manager Application Document Here. The application is a Word document and may be completed by filling in the required information. Candidates are encouraged to save the document to their computer. Please be sure to complete all sections before mailing.

An applicant will be considered to have a completed file when the following have been received by the Milford Public Schools: letter of application, resume, application form, credentials or letters of reference, and transcripts. All information must be mailed to: Superintendent's Office, 1200 West 1st, Milford, NE 68405, and you may call 402-761-3321 if you have questions about your file.

Upon completion of a screening process, selected applicants will be called for an interview. The interview process may include an interview with the building principal, a selected team of teachers, and other district administrators. This process will take place in the building where the advertised position is located.

The candidates selected for the position(s) will be notified by phone and will have a specified, limited time to respond to a contract offer. When an offer is accepted, the contract will be submitted to the Milford Public Schools Board of Education at their next regularly scheduled meeting for approval.

Please understand, because of the number of candidates we are unable to notify each candidate of his or her current status; however, an applicant may contact the District regarding the status of the vacancy. Applicants who have interviewed for a position will be informed of the final selection.

Milford Public Schools look forward to receiving your application and are pleased you are interested in educating the students of our District.
