ProStart Place High At State!
Hard work and practice pay off!

Congratulations to the Milford ProStart teams on their
exceptional placing at the State ProStart competition in
Hastings on Saturday, March 29th. The Hot Tamales team of
Shalene Weyers, Natalie Jeppesen and Brandy Frey receive the
first place trophies in culinary for Best Team Dessert and Best
of Beef. Brandon McCarthy earned first place in individual
knife skills. The Two Men and the Spice team of Brandon
McCarthy, Matt Rogge, and Megan Stahly earned the Championship
Culinary trophy. This team also earn 1st place trophies in
Safety and Sanitation, 1st place in Team Knife skills, 3rd
place in Best Overall Dessert and 3rd Place in Best of Beef.
Twelve teams competed of which 10 schools were class A. Great
job Milford students!
