On Friday, February 15th, the Lady Eagles avenged an early season loss to the Fairbury Jeffs by a final score of 48-44 at York High School. Milford improved to 19-3 for the season.
Milford advances to play Johnson County Central at 7:00 on Friday, February 22nd at Lincoln Southwest. It is located on 14th and Pine Lake Road. An easy way to get there is to take the Bypass to Old Cheny Rd. Take Old Cheny Rd to 14th Street. Turn South on 14th Street and go to Pine Lake Rd. Southwest High School will be on the west side of the road.
Johnson County Central is a first year consolidation school District. Tecumseh and Nemaha Valley agreed to join last spring. They have an 18-5 record.
Plan to get there early as there is usually a line to get in.
Winner will advance to the Girls State Tournament in Lincoln on February 28th-March 1st.
GOOD LUCK LADY EAGLES!
