Fine Arts Boosters

Congratulations to the students involved with the One Act performance. Going to State and taking 4th place is a great achievement; we are proud of our students!!

The Fine Arts Boosters met on January 14 to discuss the events coming up in the last half of the year. Several folks volunteered to chair committees to assure that these events will be successful. A big "Thank You" goes out to the folks who stepped up.
The events to look forward to, and help with if you are called upon, are:
o the Milford Invite Speech Meet on February 16
o the JH High Music Contest on March 13
o the Musical on March 28 and 29
o the HS Track meet concessions - April 26
o COPA - which will be held on May 6
This will be a busy half of the year, all help is welcome and appreciated.

The boosters agreed to purchase T-shirts for the speech team and also to help out with purchasing a Cricut - a machine to help create posters. We will also help in purchasing costumes for show choir, should there be a need. Cookie Dough sales have come and gone, hopefully you were able to purchase some, or to make a donation to a student's Chicago trip account.

Discussion regarding joining the Milford Fun Days parade to help promote Fine Arts Boosters was started. This will be continued in the next meeting as ideas were bounced around to think about until then. Our next meeting, and perhaps the final meeting for this year, will be held on March 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school music room. Please be sure to mark your calendars to join us.
