PLEASANT DALE SCIENCE FAIR

Students Display Experiments

April 18, 2007

The Pleasant Dale Science Fair and Book Fair were held Thursday, April 12th.  There were 34 participants and 21 different demonstrations.  Those in attendance were entertained with Dancing Raisins, Poppin Rockets, and Water Volcanos.  A collapsing Can demonstration was also a big hit.  Lessons were featured on animal teeth and what they eat, how electricity works, and how best to polish pennies.

The kids all worked hard and had fun at the same time.  A big thanks goes to the parents for helping their children and making the Science Fair a big success.  We also thank the PTO for sponsoring the Book Fair.  It was a good time of learning for all.  This is an annual event that gets better every year.
