2007 Yearbook

by Julia Wang

March 05, 2007

The Milford High School Journalism staff is responsible for creating the Milford Junior/Senior High School yearbook each year. The yearbook is non profit and self-supported.

The Journalism staff is headed by Mrs. Julie Eckman. The seniors on staff this year are Amanda Larsen, Whitney Plessel, and Julia Wang. The juniors are Traci Aschoff, Tori Blair, Jordan Dahle, and Savanna Lohmeier. The sophomores are Chloe Burroughs, Sydney Tolle, and Sarah Weber.

Mrs. Julie Eckman diligently corrects any errors the students might have missed

The Milford Junior/Senior High School Yearbook is ninety-five percent student led. Mrs. Eckman oversees production, and manages the overall technical process of putting the yearbook together, but likes to leave the “creativity up the kids.”

“I really try to stress that [the yearbook] is a lifelong momento,” Eckman says, reminding the Journalism students to keep in mind that they should be able to look back in twenty years and not wonder what they were thinking. “We also try to get as many different pictures of Milford students as we can.”

The Milford High School Journalism Staff would like to remind both parents and students that yearbooks will continue to be on sale throughout the remaining school year. The after-Christmas cost of the book is $45.00. Purchases can be made by cash or check (made out to Milford Public Schools) to the office. The Journalism staff has worked hard to make this year’s book original and new.
