New Feature Allows Parents to Check Lunch Account Online!

Lunch Program Announcement and Registration Information:

Over 60 percent of families now have e-mail and Internet access from their homes – even more have access from their work places. Milford Public Schools is now able to take advantage of this low-cost and reliable communications avenue to alert our families electronically of balances in their family meal accounts. Additionally you can access your current account information online – anytime. Your information is available on our Web Page: www.milfordpublicschools.org. On the right side of the screen, there is a “Check Lunch Balance” button.You need to have a registration form on file at the school which is located below.

The school recently approved the purchase of a Wordware Web-Email Module to add on to our Lunch Cashier System. Families who register will automatically receive e-mail reports containing their account information. By using the Web-Email Module, roughly 70% of our contacts with families will be handled electronically, without involving additional district personnel or expense, while keeping you better informed.

Specifics on the Web-Email Module are as follows:
- Printed Letter Statements will be replaced with e-mails, for families that have
supplied the school with an e-mail address and release form.
-Account information will be updated at 6:00 pm daily.
- E-mails will be processed and sent out regularly.
- You can reply to an e-mail statement directly to the district’s e-mail address.
- This is a secure site; only specific district personnel with the correct user-id and
two specific passwords may access this information.
- Families must know their account ID and PIN to access family account information.

 

To Register for this service:

You will need MicroSoft Word to open the attached form. You will be in the Name Field. Type your name and hit the Tab. It will take you to the next field. Keep using the Tab Key to get to the advance. If you make a mistake keep hitting the Tab until you get back to the field that you want to change or click in the text box. Be sure to enter your e-mail address. Complete the form including your name and date in the last two lines.

After completing the form Save it to your Desktop. When you Save it change the Name to Lunch-(Last Name First Name with no space) ie. Lunch-WerginConnie.

 

Send the completed form back to Julie as an attachment at jwalker@esu6.org.

Name it Lunch Registration in the subject line.

We will then send you an e-mail release form, along with your account ID and PIN.

You can print the form and fill in the information and return the form to Julie Walker at the school. You may simply fill in your name and the date and reply to the e-mail, send the form with your child, or mail the information to Julie’s attention at the school:
